I am an Associate Clinical Animal Behaviourist member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC):

"Associate members have demonstrated that they have the appropriate level of Knowledge and Understanding for the professional role of Clinical Animal Behaviourist (CAB). They are now gaining the practical experience necessary to be assessed as a CAB and therefore become a Full member of the APBC. The APBC supports its Associate members undertaking behaviour consultations."

I have worked in animal welfare since 2020, specialising in dog behaviour. Through this work I have gained extensive hands-on experience assessing behaviour, supporting dogs with complex behavioural challenges, and helping owners better understand their dogs.

My background in animal welfare has allowed me to work with a wide range of dogs, each with their own individual needs, histories and behaviour patterns. This experience has given me the practical skills to assess behaviour carefully and develop behaviour modification plans that are realistic, ethical and tailored to each dog and their family.

Alongside my work with dogs, I also have significant experience working with horses. Working with both species has given me a broader understanding of animal behaviour, communication and learning theory. Horses and dogs may be very different animals, but both rely heavily on body language, clear communication and trust, and this has shaped the way I approach behaviour work.

I use modern, evidence-based training and behaviour modification methods that focus on positive reinforcement and improving welfare. My aim is always to help animals feel safer and more confident while giving owners the practical tools and understanding they need to support their animal successfully.

One of the most rewarding parts of my work is seeing the transformation that can happen when owners begin to understand their animal’s behaviour more clearly. With the right support and guidance, even challenging behaviour problems can improve significantly, helping both animals and their owners live happier, less stressful lives.
