A consultation is vital for us to gather a full understanding of your dog and the behaviours they are displaying. This service is for behaviours that are complex in nature such as reactivity, aggression or fear based behaviours. You will be sent an online form to complete which will ask you questions about your dog's history, lifestyle, behaviours that you find concerning and an opportunity for you to mention what you want to achieve. 

 

Once I have read through your booking form in detail, we can book you in for a behaviour consultation. A behaviour consultation with me will involve a visit to your home (or can be done virtually if preferred) where I will discuss with you in length what I have learned from your filled out booking form, an opportunity for me to ask more questions about your dog and an opportunity for you to ask me questions about your dog and their behaviour. I will then give you my professional opinion regarding what I feel the cause of the behaviours could be, the steps that need to be taken to start to change the behaviour and a plan of action. I may demonstrate various training techniques for you to get started on straight away if required.

Following my visit, you will be sent a behavioural report and a behaviour modification plan which will give you the steps to support your dog with changing their behaviour.

Animal behaviour is complex! It is my job to help you as the owner to understand your dog, to learn what you can about reading dog body language and interpreting their behaviour and how to put it into practice through training. I have years of learning and experience to pass on to you, to help you to reach your goals of having a strong relationship with a happy and content dog.

Dog behaviour consultations are priced at £90 for a consultation lasting up to 1.5hours and the in depth modification plan to follow.
